Protocol for Sample Submission
We accept any sample for analysis at our facility. If you are nearby we are happy to pickup your samples within a certain radius of NuMega for free, call for details. For urgent samples, they may be dropped off in person during business hours. Samples can be shipped to NuMega Resonance Lab for analysis via FedEx, UPS, Airborne, courier, or any other convenient means. For shipping your sample to NuMega Resonance Lab, follow your own company’s policies and safety protocols. Make sure your samples are safely secured to avoid breakage before shipping. Please include our sample submission form and address your package to:

Sample Submission/ Handling
Each sample is assigned a reference number and logged in. The copy of the order form is used to track the progress of sample analysis. After the sample has been optimally analyzed, the sample is logged out and a copy of the order form and results are sent back to you.
Quantity of Sample (these are rough guidelines, assuming a low MW material and standard 1D experiments)
Proton NMR: 2-10 mg
Carbon/ Phosphorus NMR: 20-50 mg
Mass Spectrometry: 1 mg/ 1 mL or 20-50 μM
Elemental Analysis: 3 mg per run
Optical Rotation: >10mg or enough for desire concentration
Certain experiments can be performed with less material, but may require a surcharge due to longer experiment times.
